Thinking Of You

Those of you who know me well will know I am not a great giver of flowers. A posy from my garden maybe or something local and sustainable but not a cellophane wrapped supermarket bunch. This means that in return I tend not to receive flowers, instead friends give me plants and I couldn't be happier!  I have a gorgeous collection, all with names (Frank, Polly and Ken are three living in my kitchen) and they get loads of love and attention. 

They are providing both joy and artistic inspiration !

The collage pieces are artworks in themselves and take days to produce as I wait for layers to dry before adding more texture, colour or pattern. A very enjoyable and meditative process.
