One of a trio of small, bright joyful paintings inspired by the rhythm of coastal life. We are one of the many links in the chain of life, connected to everything. The chain motif is one that appears frequently in my work, it has many symbolic meanings, I choose to focus on interconnectivity, eternity, strength and endurance. Yet ultimately we are all free to choose our own path and destiny, we are completely untethered if we choose to be so.
